Makes some sense - I was born in Philly and I spent a bunch of time in Baltimore.
I've also driven through Cleveland without stopping about a dozen times. :)
No wonder I get along with the Texas crew so well.

God dammit! it fucked up on me
I'll just say I'd fit right in if I lived in Texas.
Mine was spot on .. lower Michigan http://nyti.ms/1jCmaon
Doesn't appear that yours worked ether Josh. At least posting the map.
I don't know what's going on with that, other than they say they're getting slammed. I did it the long way with a screenshot, crop, and upload to hosting site. It absolutely nailed it if I look at the most red part, which is South-Western WV. That's exactly where I live.

No wonder why I like the 3SStL crew.
Deleted, link won't work from phone, may do later.
I talk like someone from Vegas and least like Jersey and NY. Florida was red, cali was red, MI was red.
From the phone.
I took the test but I screwed up when I went to copy the picture. It said my dialect was close to Lexington, KY, Springfield, MO and I think Wichita, KS was the last.
I think this just proves that when I moved all over as a kid I picked up a mish-mash of dialects.
The closest city is 2.25 hrs away.
Uh oh, Stealthee, it looks like we're twins then. I guess we can move to different state. Funny how I've been in Kansas all my life except for OK for 6 months.
I speak like Baltimore/Philly/Newark..no wonder some people think I'm an asshole...lol
Jason
I clicked least similar to see what that said, it was basically all New England cities. Damn Massholes don't know how to speak properly.
Took forever... Detroit, San Ramon, Seattle... And Yoonz guy is east coast right? I recall that usage in PA, Southeast.
Yes, Yinz/Yunz is all SW PA. You'll never hear it anywhere else.
Jeremy
Yinz I have always thought was supposed to be "Pittsburghese"
Thinking more about it, you're right Brian. It is Pittsburghese. So, South-Western PA, but specifically sPittsburgh.
Jeremy
I have never said Yinz unless I was joking. I think I usually say you all, but never y'all.
I couldn't function without the expression "y'all". :D
Jeremy
Damn hillbilly. I think you live too close to Kentucky. LOL
I'll have to try this when I get home, my work computer won't let me take the quiz. It should be interesting since I was born in New York, lived in Maryland for 28 years, California for 14 years and now I'm in the capitol of Latin America.
I am a Region Rat.
Jackson, Mobile, & Birmingham for me.
Certified redneck.
Ya'll crazy
Hmmm, will try in morning but should be fun...born minnesota, 5 years in tennessee, 8 years in texas, 8 years in california, two years in colorado, and now on third year in washington :p
I don't believe I saw a "yinz"?
Just saw a couple scattered around the thread.
Mine said Richmond Va
I'm about an hour from there
Got it dead on with STL. Followed by Rockford Il and Grand Rapids MI.
Mine was not even close. I was raised about 30 minutes from Pittsburg pa, in eastern ohio. I have lived in surprise az for almost 10 years. It said that Wichita ks, Springfield mo, and Lexington ky were the most similar. And no, I don't listen to country music either. It was based on my usage of crawdad.
Those were the same 3 that I got and I have lived in southwest PA for 24 years of my 33 years of existence. The other 9 years were spent in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dayton, Ohio, and Olympia, Washington.
Looks pretty accurate to me.

Grand Rapids, Rockford, and Madison. Seems a big rigged though. Carbonated sugar water is "Soda Pop" to me...always has been. I don't think anyone has a name for the day before Halloween. I maintain that I have a VERY neutral accent for the most part. That said, I spent several years in houston county GA (pronounced "house-ton", rather than the more logical "huu-ston", so I'm sure that didn't help. And about half of those questions returned a map of the USA that was extensively blue.

Fits me perfectly. Parents from Philly, and raised in South Jersey.
Just in case it's not showing the map... I have Philadelphia, Newark/Patterson, and Yonkers.
Hmmm, Guess I move around way too much as a kid. I have never lived anywhere close to that area. Closest would be where I'm at currently in North Carolina.

Mine seems random as heck!?

Tuscon, Albuquerque and Colorado Springs??
I've lived in Minnesota and Texas with ties in New York and Florida. ... So I guess the mix of that is Tuscon?
Funny thing is, the one with the most resons for these areas is "Frontage Road" but that was a term used here in Texas along every highway. haha
