Maybe you could post a few more details here?
No specifics yet but jgroove and tazman are going to be hammering out the details soon.
Taz is out of planning, but will help as he can.
If anyone wants to help me put this together, shoot me a PM by the end of the week. I want to at least get the dates and location out by end of next week so everyone can have a timeline for their cars.

Okay, I FINALLY have the hotel set up. Just waiting on the contract to sign but the prices are great, $59 a night.
I'm going to try and work out a blocked out parking area for our group at the hotel. Depending on how many reservations we get I will be able to pull that off.
I'll be putting together a stand alone event site for information and registration to help tie this together from all of the different 3S sites.
I'll try to have that up after the long weekend.

The $59 a night was if I was going to pay for the rooms all at once myself.

Update!
The Texas 3S Sponsors have really been coming through.
With that, I am able to lower the registration for the gathering from $25 to $10 since our sponsors are picking up the bulk of the expenses. :)
All those who have already registered have been refunded the $15 difference to your PayPal account.

Well crap.
75063 Weekend Weather Forecast - weather.com
40% chance of rain for Saturday AND the track is closing their gates at 6pm instead of 8pm now. They are still planning on running until midnight, but we need to be there by 5:30.
And then if it does rain, the track will be closed either way. So, drag racing may be out. We will find out more as it gets closer to Saturday. Heck, just two days ago this whole weekend was going to have perfect weather.

Just got off of the phone with Dallas Raceway, they also updated their website today as well, they WILL BE CLOSED on Saturday due to weather.
So no dragracing this weekend.
But, good news is, we have 17 cars signed up to dyno on Saturday! So full day at the dyno then we can cruise out for dinner when we are done.
We have 70 people signed up and a lot of cars! Going to be an awesome weekend!
Okay, Dallas Raceway is out, but Ennis is having an event that so far is not cancelled. So, we can call them day of. If the weather holds out we will head out to Ennis for Saturday night drag!
