Baldino's...although I'm not sure I've seen them outside of SE GA...but far and away the best & biggest subs I've ever had for the price.
From those listed I chose Quiznos. Dat prime rib and peppercorn.
I have yet to try Jimmy Johns, Penn Street or Schlotzkeys..in fact, never even heard of that last one. Out of the others, definitely like Firehouse subs. Very good.
Although not a chain, I worked at a deli in Orange County NY last summer and it's hard to beat hot fresh deli stuff.
Put me down for Jersey Mike's.
Jimmy Johns' Vito sub, fo' sho'!! Good shiit right thurr! :P
Sent from the garage
What is Penn Street? Did you mean Penn Station East Coast Subs?
Jeremy
+1
I have tried them all minus Penn Street, Jersey Mikes would be my top choice. All meats and cheeses sliced right in front of you and their bread is great "As long as it's fresh" Now I have been to a couple Jersey Chains that are crap but it all depends on the employees and management.
Larry's Giant Subs in FL, GA, and SC is pretty good. Other than that I'd say Firehouse.
I feel to sub neglected.
Someone mail me these subs you speak of so I can give an opinion on them ;)
If you didn't select Jimmy John's you are wrong. I need no defense of this fact. The subs defend themselves.
Though I will say that Firehouse is a very close second.
Jerry's Subs & Pizza in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Delaware were the best chain subs I've ever had. But I've been away from that area for 15 years, so I don't know if they're still any good.
Quiznos of the ones on the list. Best taste and I don't really like cold subs.
I like a local chain better (tubbys)
I hit the local place "Billy's Time Out Deli", they have a meat ball sub that kills anything. Hell most of their stuff kills. My brother lives in Atlanta and every time he comes to town he has to eat there.
Now now kids, focus: It's about CHAIN restaurants.
There are local places that are going to be better, but this should be kept to chain restaurants for fairness.
Jimmy johns is so plain IMO.
Big John's Steak & Onion is the best I've had anywhere
I love the 16" Super Steak Cheese & Onion w/banana peppers and their house red sauce
Made w/100% ribeye steak and it's sooooo juicy

well i'll say this. ya'll are certainly good at throwing out the most obscure places that no one but a local has a clue about.
jimmy johns hands down..... love that place so many choices and they are all good and the jimmy chips jalepeno to die for
Honestly, I would have to say Firehouse is the best. Their selection of hot sauces sets it off too.
yeah. if you like hot sauce, firehouse has it going ON. the coca-cola freestyle machines here in the local firehouses are also a big plus.
Do love the Coke Freestyle machines. Makes me feel like a bit of a mad scientist just mixing a bunch of random liquids together and see what happens.
mellow-yellow zero + cherry flavoring = even better than code-red mt. dew.
It really depends on what I want. If I want a roast beef sandwich then I will go with jimmy johns. If I want a ham sandwich I'd go with subway.
