Timing Cam Sproket Locks

Stumbled upon these while looking for an alternative to paying 60+ shipping for a cam lock tool. So I thought there would be others looking for the same thing and sense the guy was looking to sell all of them, I decided to put the funds out to help out the community. I am not looking to get rich off these, just enough to cover sipping costs, the cost of each tool+ a little for my time.

These are anodized aluminum and will fit 90% of vehicles with DOHC as well as some ATV's with DOHC. Company is bases out of Australia called Harris Trading International Pty Ltd

Prices include shipping and PayPal fees. 25$ for 1 or 45 for 2......If more are desired, pm me and we can work out a a better deal sense a number will fit in medium or large flat rate box.

I have a total of 135 of these, and if anyone is not happy with their purchase, just send them back and ill refund your money. I am confident no one will be unhappy with these. They are built well, adjust to many widths and cam teeth spacing, so there is really nothing to it.

These black bolts are threaded in the aluminum body and the pin is off set so it adjusts to just about any size cam sprocket.

I hate you, I bought 3SX lockers and have yet to use them :(

They look slightly interesting. I would want to seem the used on an actual motor tho.

Pretty cool, I already have lockers but since I can use these on other engines I might pick one (or two) up.....I guess you need 2 huh?

Ill take a pic of them on the engine tomorrow and post pics for you. Anything in particular you wanna see? These are well made tools and will come in handy on those timing jobs. I have never used the plastic ones, same principal except with these you can adjust them for many different cars you may work on in the future. The plastic ones are only spaced for our engines so thats why I didn't go that route. I was sick of these large paper clips popping off and having the cams spring loose and start all over.

These are fairly new from what I have researched, and as of now the only way they can be bought are in quantity's.

Going to put that in the listing too, as Im sure so one will be disappointed. This is designed to hold cams from rotating when changing timing belt or any other kind of timing work.

No rush. I just like to see things implemented for their real use before I commit.

Here are some pics of them on the engine. Given there is no timing belt or valve cover to set cams, the principal is the same. Get the timing cam sprockets set on the marks and simply install the lock as shown. The bolts with dowel pin off set will actually rotate and tighten in the sprocket lobes and holds itself to the sprocket. Then you tighten the wing nut and the sprockets can move because the lock is is transferring the tension to the other cam rendering it immobile, just like the plastic ones do.
