Oy - a new, new SM record.
Another Ford GT, too...must be something to that, eh? :)
yeah, hard to find many cars pushing > 1000whp with a supercharger.
i'm sure they exist--probably more of them twin-charged than pure supercharger. the thing is, they seem to be so few and far between that i could probably count the numer that exist (worldwide) on 2 hands. 1000hp turbocharged cars are plentiful though. seems like 1 out of every 10 supras is that way.
Ok, so how many 8,000hp cars do you find running turbos :D

ok, i guess i should have specified that i wasn't counting cars that run nitromethane and/or cars that didn't come off a factory production assembly line. :p
idk if there are turbos that would handle a top fuel car mainly because of the exhaust gas being so crazy
I can't find anything that says how quick he did it. (time)
This thread makes my head hurt.
Distilled then, Roots chargers ultimately cross the threshold at which exhaust becomes...uncontrollable - and continue to build powah. :)
I wonder what sort of capacity/size turbos and possible exhaust configurations might conceivably support that level of output - strictly as a paper proposition?
Hint, hint.
only when you do it like this...
