iac delete

how do you delete the iac? i have a different plenum and t body and i want to use it!

If you're using the stock throttle body and want to delete it, they make delete plates.

no, its not the stock intake, its some garbage that i bought a long time ago and im tired of seeing it collect dust. its this ugly shit.

its fits and all but i still have to do wiring in order to get the tps and all that correct. i know matt and the guys that run that intake mani just ditch the iac totally, and i guess they just splice in on the wiring for the tps.

Ok your not making any sense. The throttle body you have now does not have a spot to mount the IAC. So then the design of the throttle body is the actual delete. If there is no place to mount it then what else are you wanting to know on how to delete it??? There is nothing to do with the wiring. Just tie it off somewhere.

If the question is how to get away with not running one, the throttle body you have should compensate for it, if not I would think you could just either re-set your base idle or mess with the BISS ... ?

I don't use the FIAV on my car (blocked it off), but I do use an ISC and I think you'll find it sucks not to have.

I just got a DSM block off plate adn got rid of the bottom half of my TB and re plumbed some coolant lines. there's sooo much more room now :)
