i watched the race, very sad to see, it looks like he hit the catchfench with the top side of his car.
Yeah that looked pretty bad. I saw the video and he went cockpit 1st into the fence. Having your head exposed in these cars has always freaked me out. I've seen a car peel out on a guys helmet, it's crazy to see a tire mark on a helmet and the guy was fine. I always said I've wanted to drive open wheel but rather race stock car.Quote:

At least F1 plays it safe with no passing and lots of turns, no high speed constant tension and passing.

Was just hearing that apparently before the race alot of the teams raised concerns about too many teams racing on a small-ish circuit making it extra dangerous. If that's the case, we could be hearing about this in court in the not too distant future.
