What would a 18x9 +50 offset wheel look like? Would that stick out a lot?
my previous wheels i had 9" wide with 42mm offset with 255 tires all around. on the front it was like a mm or 2 from touching the strut tower on the inside. im sure +50 will touch tower. on the back there was plenty of space in the wheel well. front was flush, rear was sunk a few mm
you could use it but would have to use 235 tires, and clearance on the inside for the front would be extremely close.
Does a + 50 push the rim out or in? I thought it would push the rim out and stick out from the fenders.
I tried to read up on what offset meant but I'm more confused now than before.
+50mm will pull the wheel in. A 10mm spacer to give the wheels an effective +40mm offset will make them sit pretty much perfect on the car.

Jojo's VR4 had a -9 offset in the back, with the extreme widebody look it was badass.
That has what relevance to anything mentioned in this thread?

Oh come on Jason, he used the word "offset" that counts for something doesn't it :p
Would running a spacer to get close to stock cause any negative affects? Could I still take it to the track?
So you guys think a 18x9 +50 is possible? I'm desperately trying to find a Blitz Type 03 to replace the one that got hit a while back. I may have found a couple. These rims are ultra rare and I only have 3... :(
