I'm on my second 3000gt. My first, a '97 base, was in remarkable condition until I overheated the SOHC engine. I spent about a year trying to fix it, only to have the end result smoking like a SOB. I gave up, and traded it in. I'm now almost a decade wiser and picked up my first VR4 - a '91 with half the mileage of my old base model. It's got some issues, but that's okay. I intend to chase them down and take this car from 6/10 to 9/10, and then drive the snot out of it.

Hello, I have previously owned two great SL models and finally just got my first real VR4. It's a 97 pearl white in great shape with 160k on the clock all original. Needs some little stuff here and there to make it a real gem but what I am most interested in is finding a Jdm gto gear set and 1st gen rear end to have the better gearing for road racing and such. I never imagined how tall the gears are but the car is still awesome to drive. Please send me a PM or maybe I could be pointed in the right direction to get myself a set as I know that they are pretty scarce accoring to my research. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Hello, My name is Chris and I've wanted a 3kGT for YEARS. Finally got to a place with work and family that I could finally realize that dream, so I traded my motorcycle for a '96 3kGT Base.
She is Pearl White, has a little less than 150k miles, and has been sitting. Now working on slowly fixing the problems and getting her on the road.

Hello everyone. Looking at getting back into another 3000GT. Bought a 98 back in 99 but then life happened. Got married, had a couple kids, and now in a position in life to find another one. This site is a plethora of information and an awesome community of enthusiasts. I am looking forward to being a part of it.
Just purchased a 95 3000 GT, VR4...rode hard and thrashed pretty good, in the San Diego, CA area. Looking to fix it all up, motor needs re-done also says broke oil line and ran it, will be interesting to see what's going there....

Previously owned a 1994 3000GT SL, but had let it go when I moved across the country. Here in Cali I found a 1993 3000GT VR-4 that I will likely be purchasing. This time around I expect to own it for far longer and will hang around asking a few questions about what I should be looking for when I go to look at the car, get it inspected, and any future maintenance. I am by no means an auto mechanic wiz. Not even close. But I do know knowledge is out there and I'm willing to learn if it means I can make this beauty last. Thanks ahead of time for any help I receive!

New to the forum in the process of selling my car and when thinking about what I want to own next I've decided vr4. Though finding the perfect one has proven to be difficult. Hoping I will be able to find one for me on here! Looking for a 95+ well taken care of and mostly stock. Don't like going over other people's work and enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of starting from stock. Thanks

She's mostly stock with alot of reductions and deletes, increased Boost and some small non performance custom modifications.
Hello and happy new year to all! About a year ago i bought two 95 vr4s non running and started a complete tear down and rebuild restoration project, one car to keep and one for parts. I have spent well over 1000 hrs. in the last year on this project and have been driving the car for about 6 months! what a blast it is to drive these cars! My car has been completely gone through mechanically and interior. trying to work out a few bugs before new paint and trim. looking forward to communicating with others on their project cars. I am completely new to forums but have worked on and built cars most of my life and i like motorized things with lots of horsepower!
Welcome! Wish you would have joined and documented your rebuild for us all to see. I hope you start your own thread with some before and after photos.

I've had a Stealth for about 15 years and finally getting back to working on it again. The latest additions are the Jester ECU and soon to be Jester MAF. I'm hoping to get some information on the forum from people that have already been down this path.
I am retired, living in florida and have had 3 stealth/300gt vehicles since 1992. I currently have a 99 gt3000 vr4 that I purchased new. Love the car. It only has 52000 miles but needs a few parts that I was hoping I could get help finding. Thanks, Jim Bussey

New to this forum, been a member on 3si for about half a year, been a member on DSMtuners for probably about 5 years, and a member on Thirdgen.org for even longer, though I don't really go on there unless I get an out of the blue PM, since I don't have a Camaro currently, although I would like to get another 3rd gen at some point. I've owned a 3rd gen 3.4 v6 (I swapped the engine) Camaro that I modified moderately, 4th gen 3.8 Camaro, and a 2g Talon TSI AWD heavily modded, in the past, sadly all 3 met untimely demises one way or another.
Currently I have a 93 3000gt vr4 mostly stock, but I will be building heavily once I find a new house, as I really need space to work on, and store my projects. I am already stocking up on many of the parts, jumping on deals when I see them. I also have another 2g Talon similarly modded to my last one, I am planning to hopefully get into amateur road racing with it, it is still street legal, and I plan to maintain SOME streetability with it, while also keeping it on a tight budget. Lastly I have a 92 base model 3000gt, I initially picked it up as a parts car to repair frontal collision damage on my vr4, but I might DD it a while instead as it is still a running driving car. I'll probably wind up DDing it while building up the vr4, and wait till I'm done with the build to strip the base model and fix the damage on the vr4. Or if it blows it up, whichever happens first.

Anyhow I just bought a 1991 Jamaican Blue VR4 with white leather interior. Car is a timewarp. Still had its original Michelins on when I got it. Near mint original condition with just under 26K miles. I'd post a few pics but I can't lol. I'm changing tires, brakes, fluids, timing belt tensioner and water pump before she hits the road.
Couple of questions. Someone on the 3si site said that 'Elderloc' had a way to create repop window stickers? I can t PM him but I am VERY interested. I dont have my original (or the owners manual for that matter. Weird for a low mile car like this). Anyhow I also was intrigued by 'Story Teller'. Somehow no one has a working link for it. Awesome production stats from that database . I'd love to get access to that too. I cant imagine that the entire database went away?
