Went and got my blood tests today. Around 7 months back I had my cholesterol checked and it was way too high. Doc said if I can't get it down, I was going on medication for life. Doc tells me today he's impressed by my results. I've gone from a 7.2 to a 5.2 and a 0.95 to a 1.2. He can tell by the numbers I'm eating well and exercising. :)
I am also down to 90.5 kilo's. (198.85 pounds)

Good job!
It sounds like you have mastered making this a long term change.
I've been working nothing but upper-body for the past month. Not much else to do in the sandbox but workouts. Still using dumbbells like I started experimenting with last summer. Routine hasn't changed much since about January. First routine is 4 exercises, 30 reps each exercise--in 10 rep segments & cycling through each exercise before starting the next 10; standing 2-arm overhead lift, single arm low-row (both sides), side-bends (both sides), and finally supine 2-handed overhead lift. Second routine is 3 exercises, 30 reps each exercise--10 rep segments rotating through each exercise before starting the next 10; supine flys, standing cyclical curls (each arm individually) and bridged triceps extensions (elbow is fixed to my side, and I move the weight from my collarbone in a smooth motion to straighten my elbow, and repeat). I hadn't been doing much before I got out here, but I'm up to regularly doing 55lbs for the first routine and 25 lbs for the second. I have pushed it to 60/30, but I'm not quite strong enough to do that each workout. Following the 2nd set, I'll do 100 ab exercises (usually a 50/50 mixture of leg scissors and crunches). This takes me all of about 1 hour. Who needs cardio when I'm breathing this hard?
179lbs (shorts, t-shirt, shoes) when I finished the workout today. Still could stand to lose about 12 kilos, but I can't complain. Arms are starting to get HUGE too. :)
And in case anyone is wondering what cyclical curls are, I'm standing with the weight in my hand, arms at my sides, palm forward. I curl the weight to my chest, then I rotate my hand inwards (knuckles up) before bringing the weight back down to the starting position. The trick is to try and keep your elbows as motionless as possible. This action mimics both a pull-up and a chin-up in one rep.
Arms are starting to get HUGE too. :)
Pics or it's not happening. :p
I suck at selfies. :(
I have been hitting cross it super hard the last few weeks . I have had to partake in the fundamentals class per gym rules which I graduate from tommorow . I have been fairly regularly showing up some of the trainers . its kicking my ass though and I'm loving it !

Thanks Gran. Yeah, my new lifestyle isn't that bad or hard and I can still sneak in the odd beer, soft drink and shitty foods. It's not just a case of getting off all the good stuff for life. :)
I'm down to 89.7 kilo's today - the first time in a lot of years. People are noticing and it feels good. :D
