The Otters tiny TD04 Build

Got the front end all back together. Got all my boost leaks fixed.

Now I go to fire the car up. Turns over a few times and BOOM! nice big backfire. Turn the car over again. BOOM, big back fire. Turn the car over again, starts. Dies after a couple seconds. Start it back up, boom back fire. and then the battery is out of juice.

So now I am off to buy a charger for the tiny battery, and then hopefully get to try and start it up some more.

Need to find out why it fires up and dies after a few seconds.

So the car will turn on and hold idle when I 0 out the arc2

So,

Just started it up again.

0 low
-7 mid
0 high
+1 accel

Anytime I move low to -1 it tries to stall

You probably need to add a click or two to the low knob if zero lets it run but going negative stalls it out. What's your AFR reading? That will give a good indication.

Was just typing you a PM reply, but I will post it here.


Don't have my downpipe fitted yet (was wanting to get it somewhat driving so I could get it 1.8 miles down the road to the exhaust shop so they can get it fitted up so I can get the wbo2 on.


So yeah, -7 mid worked great, really smoothed out the idle.

I really wish I could get some wb02 readings but can't without the DP since the bungs are on it.



BUT if there is no reason for me not to, I want to let it get to operating temp and set my ignition timing.

Nice man! There is just something about a gutted interior with a cage that does it for me.
