91 stealth no brake lights
Hi, i have a 94 sl fed spec, just purchased a chromed ecu to replace a failed stock unit and have some questions.
Hello. I have been in the community for a few years. I am just getting my car roadworthy and am looking forward to participating more. Thanks.
I bought a 91 stealth rt tt last fall and have been working on restoration. This site appears to be a great help in that quest.
Thanks for doing a great job buddy.
Hello, I own a '92 Stealth RT TT and have owned it for about 5 years. She's a mess but I'll never sell her. Currently a week or so from getting it back on the road.
Hi i have a 99 3000gt and a 91 stealth RT i like this site
I am new to this forum, but not new to the 3000 gt . I have two cars. A 95 SL and a 94 VR4. Some of you may know my son who got me started with the 95SL when he was 15 yrs old. His user name on the other forum is Moogly4321. He is Mike. He does not do much with the 3000's these days because he is too involved with school and his future. However, these cars and my instruction in auto mechanics has made him very good with cars. Probably more than me in some areas. I am not a mechanic. However, my childhood and early teens were filled with taking apart cars and sometimes putting them back together. My father had a small auto parts and junk yard and he had me help him. He also worked in the Shipyards in Superior, Wi. It was a hard and meager life for him but he always said he liked what he did and that I should do what makes me happy and I will have a happy life. I was able to work hard also and through hard work and lots of good fortune I have a DDS degree from Marquette University. I still love working on cars but not as much as I did in the past. My Dental practice is in Waukesha, Wi and because of my children and my abilities I have a very modern, high tech dental office where I provide modern computer based dentistry for my patients. You asked for a little background and now I would like to make some new friends on this new forum. I was involved with the 3SI club in the Milwaukee area for several years but have not done anything for quite a while. It would be nice for my wife and myself to get involved again. I hope to hear from some of you.
Bob
Where do you live? If in the Milwaukee area, I have a great 3000/stealth mechanic that can help. He does it on the side in his garage and is an excellent mechanic. You can email me. I think the email address is in this forum.
read and understood
Name is Josh, I live in northern Fl, bought a 94 3000gt SL about a year ago. Coming home from deployment soon and looking forward to giving her some tlc and turning her into the beast that she can be.
ready for some info
New guy here, just acquired a pretty needy 91 vr4. Looking for a lot of tech info and help. Look forward to posting here.
Hello Everyone,
I am new to this group and I wanted to introduce myself, recently I fortunate enough to acquire a Black 95 Spyder VR4 (that is in very good condition) from original owner as well as all documentation. I have owned two 92 VR4's prior to the Spyder with about 350 K driven between them (still own the Green 92). I must say that I have really enjoyed driving this machine over the past month and I clearly understand the appeal of these vehicles now.
I have a few things that I would like adjust over time to make this Spyder suit my personal taste such as changing out the rims, springs and possibly a Deft 575 hood, my goal is to keep the car for the most part stock except for a few bolt on parts that can be switched back if needed.
I currently am trying to see if anyone has some advice they could share on a larger rim setup for our cars as I am not a big fan of the stock rims.
Currently I am looking at the Team Dynamics Jade R rims and from what I understand is that there are only two possible rim sizes available (19 x 8.5 35mm offset) AND (19 x 10 with a 20 mm offset). I would like to have a deep dish look as much as possible as in this picture below "specifically the rear rims". I was told by local shop that I could use 245-35-19 or 245-35-19 with these rims

but I am not sure if I will have any problems with clearance of brakes/suspension/wheel wells as my car is stock suspension. Again I would like to lower my Spyder using the Tein S and H springs which will drop the car about 1 1/4 inches from what I understand. Basically I want to make sure that these fit before I order.
Also if anyone had a lead on a Deft 575 hood I would be interested in it as I am not able to get any response from the Deft website.
If you have any advice on these items I would appreciate your time and if anyone is in the SFO area send me a PM.
Thanks
David.
Hello,
Yesterday I purchased my first 3000gt- Previously I was big in the KDM scene, but after my second engine went on my 03 Tiburon, I decided to get something different. I found a black '94 3000gt SL, five speed manual, with 92k miles on the clock. It needs some TLC, but the engine and clutch/trans are running strong. Joining here in hopes of reading and learning from other people's journeys with their cars.
Thank you!
Hello everyone. I am a proud owner of a red mk1 gto and I am looking forward to driving it :)
Hey,

time to get searching!:teapot:
Happy to be here
"okdlm" is my user name. I have gone through the process of registering and activating my account but I still can't see forums or search for topics as it says I have not access because my account may not have been activated. If my account were not activated, then I would not have gotten to this point of this thread. I have sent several emails to the administrator and no response! I just want to be able to view posts in forums and search for topics to get help with working on my Stealth.
Hi!
I've come here looking for others who respect these cars, particularly the Dodge Stealth. I've owned a 1995 Stealth R/T since 2007, and have loved every minute of it. It is a blast to drive, and makes me feel super in control of the vehicle. I hope to find some other Stealth/3000GT enthusiasts on this site, so I can develop even more appreciation for my car.
Thanks!
Let's give this a try!
funny video
Just bought a 1991 3000GT VR4. The car is stock except for ABS delete .
Hello,
My name is Sean. I'm new to the 3S community, but not cars, tuning, or motorsport. I've joined your ranks to acquire knowledge on the 6G series V6's as well as the 3S's AWD system. I will acquire this knowledge through steadfast use of the search function and read all pertinent stickies before posting.
Now that I've solemnly promised to not crap up the forum, I suppose somw background is appropriate. I live in the East Bay, in CA. I'm a veteran of 8 years of service as an 11B in the US Army. I'm going to school for automotive training, because it's one of my biggest passions. I own a '93 RX7 and a '05 Neon SRT-4. I involve myself in motorsport from SF region SCCA auto-x to Wednesday Night Drags at Sonoma Raceway. I also try to make it to 6, or more track days a year. I don't care about setting any records at the moment, I do it for love of the game. Additionally, I try to take a drive every so often through our scenic Norcal back roads. Finally I do almost all my own work, I really only go out of house for alignments and tire mounting. Everything else is done by me.
Why join the 3S forum? Well, about that...I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Mitsubishis. Especially 3kgts, DSMs, and early Evos. So, between that and the fact that I'm about done with my neon, I figured I get info here pertaining to my new project idea. I like the utility and passenger room of the neon, but it's FWD. I'd like an AWD car. So I came up with the idea to swap the 3S's drivetrain into a Mirage. Then put early Evo body panels and bumpers on it. Voila, Mirage VR-4. So that's pretty much it with out making this post more of a snorer.
Happy Motoring,
Sean

Nice video, I actually enjoyed (didn't think I would). I've been out of the 3s scene for a while (used to post on 3si.org), but recently got back in. Cheers.
