My LCD screen project, boost, WBO2, Knock, etc

Okay before I run this wideband O2 sensor wire through my floorboard, let me make sure I'm okay with this. I have a Zeitronix Zt-2 . The controller has a analog output with a range of .15V for AFR 9.7 to 3.27V for AFR 21.2. The O2 sensor is a Bosch LSU. Don't know if I could put this to use but there's also a 3.5 bar boost sensor referred to as Kavlico Zeitronix PN 80-2500-001. I also have the LCD display which I really won't need as I'll be using the LCDBC screen. Will this setup, particularly the O2 controller's analog output work ok with the LCDBC or should I go with another more proven option?

Edit: Well hum, Just checked ebay and looks like I might be able to make a profit if I sell this unit and turn around and buy a Innovate LC-1. This Zt-2 is still new in the box from when I bought it several years back. Would be a shame to use it just for the O2 controller and not use the logging capability. Any thoughts?

The LCDBC software assumes WBO2 low = 0.0volts, and WBO2 high = 5.0 volts. *IF* your ZT-2 is linear (straight line), then you can plot a graph 0.15V = 0.7, and 3.27V = 21.2 . Extend the lines and see what AFR value is represented at 0.0 volts, and at 5.0 volts. You can also use mathematics to figure out these values instead of plotting. I do recall Zeitronixs of having a non-linear WBO2 controller in the early days, those types are incompatible. Personally I'd sell it, and get a more up to date version.

AEM also used Kavilco brand as boost sensors too. It might already match one of the external boost sensors that the LCDBC supports. If it is not supported, I can certainly add it in, only takes a couple of minutes to program it in. The only information I need is the voltage to boost relationship (graph, or values).

Sell it. It won't work well with the LCDBC if the wideband output is non-linear.

e-bay listing it is. Back 8 or 9 years ago when I parked my car there were no choices for datalogging a 94. Now here I set with a Zeitronixs datalogging controller, a BlackStealth Datalogging cable, a BlackStealth LCDBC, and a Chromed ECU. I'm in datalogging heaven. The LCDBC IS the one I'm going with though! Just blows my mind how much changed in the platform during my sabbatical!

In case anyone else considers using the Zeitronixs, here's some facts from Zeitronixs depending on version. Mine falls in the 2003-2009 version:

2003-2009 Zt-2 Wideband has a Non Linear Wideband Output (white wire).

2006-2009 Zt-2 Wideband has two wideband outputs. The Linear Wideband Output and the Nonlinear Wideband Output, which follows a natural output curve of Bosch LSU wideband O2 sensor.
The Zt-2 Linear Wideband Output is shared with the Narrowband Output (the Zt-2 purple wire). Typically the engine management systems use only a narrowband or a wideband O2 feedback.

2010 Zt-2 Wideband has one Linear Wideband Output (white wire)

2010 Zt-3 Wideband has one Linear Wideband Output (white wire) which is a configurable output. The default output matches the Zt-2 2010 output and the Zeitronix Data Logger software may be used to configure the output AFR voltages to match 3rd party engine management systems or gauges.

Zt-2 Linear Wideband Output transfer function is: AFR= 2 * V + 9.6
For Use with 3rd party systems enter values as follows: 0 Volts = 9.6 AFR, 5.0 volts = 19.6 AFR

Dual Wideband AFR is possible using the linear wideband output. Two Zeitronix wideband units can be linked together by connecting the linear wideband output of a second wideband controller to the "User2" input of a Zt-2. The dual bank air/fuel ratio can be displayed on an LCD, Gauge or software and logged on a Black Box Data Logger. Additional dual channel air/fuel ratio configurations are available.

Unfortunately yes. The free website added those ads in a month later. :(

I don't mind setting you up with a folder on my host and ftp access. After I get things up and running at my house with FIOS, I will have my own server as well to do this. A domain only costs about $10/yr.
