Quick question on oil pressure.
I have great oil pressure cold, and under operating temps, but once it is up to temp my pressure takes a shit. 30-40 psi cold (can get exact when back together), and as low as 8-10 psi in the 190* area at idle. Using Rotella till broke in a few hundred miles. It has been annoying me for awhile, but cannot think of any reason for this. Although I did disassemble the bypass bolt/spring, and put back in. Not sure if that would have any effect on this issue.
Ideas other than bearing clearance? I will look for the data sheet, and post it once/if I find it.
