I am finding Calculus II, in an 8-week course, while being active duty military to be extremely demotivating. I have no sweet picture or meme to express what I'm feeling right now.

When you go from the 4th to the 5th line, you divide by (a-b) ... Which in this case, is zero. Don't beat yourself up if you didn't immediately realize that :p
And goodness, guys. That's basic algebra... not even close to calculus.

I took algebra only in college, never took calculus or geometry or anything else. If it wasn't for my wife I never would have passed algebra. Never used it again and remember nothing about it.
And I'm a software developer and I used to build physics engines for flash applications back in the day along with physics for 3D rendering!!!
