My full-car build

After work today, I pulled the interior out

I needed to vacuum and clean before I put the replacement carpet in, so I started on something else..

Finally bolting down the combat wing.

Still doesn't fit great. Probably going to try to sand the bottom down some to see if it helps any.

Then I fitted the exhaust. It still has to be tightened up, but this is pretty close to how it will be.

Where did you buy the carpet?

I wish I woulda when I had the interior out, but easier than other things in the end I fig'd. I am on a long project like you and hope the mechanical side is nearing done. Some body would be nice along with carpet and seat covers or whole new reclining racing seats.

I bought my porno red carpet in good condition from a member on here.

Last night I cleaned up the floors where the carpet lays. I went through at least 20 paper towels, but I got it clean enough and was able to lay the new carpet in the car. Here's a teaser pic.

My GF bought me a pair of Corbeau FX1 Pro's for my Christmas present from Maximal performance, I just need to buy the brackets. I can't wait until those arrive.

I plugged in a climate control display I bought from a member about a year ago and powered up my electronics for the first time since this thread was started. Turns out I was ripped off and got sold a burnt display. The buttons light up, but it does not control anything or even beep; at least the one that burnt originally beeped and controlled everything still..

I decided to remove the whole center console to get cleaned up under there. I'll also be cleaning up the wiring while I'm in there.

Funny, I thought about trying the same thing with the red carpet. Looks good!

I cleaned up under the center console pretty good. Not showroom clean, but I dont have 20 years of dust under there any more. I also began cleaning up some wiring and properly joining wires together (getting rid of all those quick connects)
