So I have done and had done with help somewhere around 3500 dollars of worth to get this vehicle to a point where it will be a lot likely that IT WILL NOT cause a wire fire in the engine bay. When I purchased the vechile in 2016 i made note of a bunch of UNPROTECTED wires running past the turbos, those were starting to and going to cause MAJOR problems in the future for me. I had all those dangerous wires removed and replaced. Since May 1st of this year, I have done starting with me favorite project, CUSTOM rear wing controls from the cockpit using the stock active aero switch. I have put in some thermo guard insulation, a brand new battery - WILL ALWAYS DISCONNECT AFTER USE OF VECHILE AT ALL TIMES, new tire rod end outer, remaunfactured complete rack assembly without exchange, bearing inner and outer, NEW O2 sensor BOSCH wideband for AEM O2, driveshaft carrier bearing and mount, oil drain for rear turbo, trubo drain gasket, 12656 clutch master cylinder, 02 Connector senor thingy, intake plenum gasket set, new spark plugs for the tune that is going on it. Tailored magnetic core ingition wire set. Replaced some pipes for the turbos. Other parts removed and replaced. Complete list is with ALL RECORDS OF VEHCILE WORK SINCE ORGINAL PURCHASE in 2001 from orginal owner in Pennyslvania, USA.
That is only a list of parts, and not the actual work that I had done in a systematic way. I will need to get a turbo coupler for the front pipes in the engine bay, and I am going to get two new spool things for the turbos, and any other minor things before the tune is put on it. I have decided to sell the nitrous system that I have because the owner i purchased from and I literly have no need to ever run NO2 into or thru the engine, it has more that engough power, look for post in interested. I put the vehcile away and it run and drives under 4k rpm perfectly, but I wil not truely drive it until it gets tune on it.
