I figured it was Deft.
If I end up getting a new hood that is the one I am leaning toward. I am sure I can get it to fit good. I made my Cianci Victory fit like stock.

Oh, today was autoX day, post in the racing forum.
I need new hoses anyway, so thought this would be a good time to experiment.

Damn! You did a nice job. How much does that stuff cost? I plan to tear my interior apart before too long and I'd like to do that while I'm at it.
I had 3 Stealth RT swirlies on it and a 15" steely. I took the 3 swirlies off, put the other 15" steelie back on front and two 2g na 3000GT wheels on back. I gave the swirlies to my cousin.
Talked to him about getting my car in the garage to try to get it road worthy.
Paul,
Read some stuff on here
I am not saying should buy from Don, be he was helpful answering my questions, and he products are not expensive either.
Not to dissing on the quality of FatMat, I have used it in my Saturn. We need to truly understand what the product is for, and that is to eliminate the resonance of the metal, you do not need to completely cover the surface to do that.
Plus the curved surface that is stamped into to area that he covered, will not resonate anywhere near as bad as the door skin it's self. Plus if you are trying to bring out the best sound you can out of your door, you need to seal off the openings the best that you can. to attempt to convert the door chamber into a speaker chamber.
Yes sealing it completely will be impossible, but the closer that you get the better the speaker will reproduce the lower frequencies.
Hope you find that info helpful
When I finally do start on it I wanto to "document" its revival.
Running of things to do to my car while waiting for the rest of my TT parts... Today I reloomed then re tucked half of my engine bay.... Boredd.. Tightened down the screws holding in my sun visors. Hunted down a few rattles in the car that occured around low rpms because of the exhaust... Found a bolt under my spare tire, sun roof crank was loose.... Car is pretty quiet.
Neither have I. This isnt the first time Ive had to tighten them either...
Guess I'll have to break out the locktight next time.
Went and put a trickle charger on it.
I got the car rolling. Moved it out of the garage and cleaned up some. Feels good seeing it off Jack stands

Threw away almost all of my spare 3/s parts.
Wish i had a 2nd 3/S that was super nice that deserved being put away for the winter.
I looked at it as I pulled away to go track my BMW.
I've done nothing but drive it lately. I'm not really wanting to but my son is driving the mud turtle (My DD). It is nice having a very fast car to enjoy on a daily basis but I'll get in more trouble before long. I need a good radar detector.
I found out the replacement 2nd gen Stealth bumper I had located the guy doesn't want to sell and now wants to get rid of the whole car. I'm contemplating getting the whole car for cheap, fixing the VCU and clutch, and flipping the car. I have no room though. I'm trying to sell a silver 1st gen VR-4 for $900. If it doesn't go which I don't expect anyone to be serious enough to come and get it I'm just going to scrap it. The market royally sucks.
I ended up swapping in 1000cc injectors on the Stealth. It definitely helped my fueling needs but now I have this weird hesitation around 4k rpms where the car has a hard time accelerating and then just takes off so I'm not exactly sure what that is. I couldn't turn up the boost past 18 psi either so I bet there's some leaks.
Thanks, was my 1st time ever messing with this stuff and a little bit of a PITA. I got a door kit (covers 2 doors) for like $20 or $30 on ebay. It's definitely not the best, but it is much cheaper. And I can already tell it does help a little although not as much as I hoped. I probably should have went with better quality stuff, but this will do for now. When I go to replace my window regulator (sometime soon) I'll spray some really good stuff all inside the door. Kinda hard to mess up with spray, lol. But being my first attempt at this, I didn't want to spend too much, so I went with the fatmat. When I get around to replacing my carpet I also want to cover the floor with some good quality stuff.
The speaker grille fabric was like $5 or $10 from parts express. I plan to do the 6x9s also. I have a ton left over.
Saw a bunch of them this weekend. Thought about buying another........ Then looked at a Trans am. :suspect:

you realise that 02 harnesses cannot be extended?
I waa not extending I was creating. As my car has one O2 sensor under the floor. I have to add.
