I am an auto tech, have been for 27 years, and know that forums are a great source of info.
Have 2 92's and a 94 parts car.
Trying to get info on a runs rich problem on the 92, o2 sensor pegged at .9, manifold vac at idle is 16
This car has a 94 engine in it they could never get running, they had timing belt installed incorrectly.

My name is Andrew and I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a car enthusiast from a young age and have always loved Mitsubishis. I got my first taste of Turbo DSM with a 99 Eclipse GST I used to own.
Just yesterday I picked up a 1996 3000GT VR4 in immaculate condition. I look forwards to learning lots about this amazing car. It has been a dream since childhood town one, and I am finally fulfilling that dream! Thanks.
Found a nice 1999 3000gtSL 109,000 miles on the clock. Car looks to be in great shape outside and in. Will have to take it for a drive and have my mechanic friend look it over. Dealership is asking $10400, but KBB has the car listed at $8600 in good shape. The Carfax, show 2 owners, 1 dealership, and 1 owner after that until present. All maintenance done by owner with no accidents or mech problems. The car has no aftermarket parts including wheels or radio. I'll offer the dealer ship $9000, what is your opinion?
Is there anything I should be looking at when I take her for a drive?
Where do you live that someone is asking $10,400 for a 15 year old non turbo 3000GT?
I wouldn't give $5000 for it myself. They are asking way too much in my opinion.

Hi, I'm Josh...a few weeks ago I bought a 1996 3000GT VR4 with 165k miles. It's in fantastic shape. Last week, the red light on the DCC display came on, and of course it's the non-replaceable revolution pick-up sensor. Luckily, it seems there is an answer here, so thanks already!

I'm new to this site. I'm selling my '94 3000 GT VR4. It's been cared for and garaged last 10 years. I'm 2nd owner. Bought it in '96 with 40k miles. Drove it until I bought a new car Oct 2004 and have garaged it since. 6 speed original deep blue paint, no accidents. Moon roof. 17 inch performance tires. 6 cd changer in trunk. 122,000 miles. I hate to sell it, but I do not need two cars. I live in CT. It's a Japanese spec. Beautiful car...
Bin moding these cars for ovre 13yrs now. Going to start offering some products to help us keep up on the new technology out there. New v-band manifolds have been built and are currently getting lots of mileage and heat cycles. :-)....Currently located in CT.

I put about 2000 miles on it already, but last week the clutch went out on me. I have been using this site extensively to find advice on parts and service tips, and one of the things i noticed was that the members here seem to be much more knowledgeable and helpful than those on other forums. I just got the transmission out and I'm ready to buy a clutch!
