It looks like you have a Front Mount installed. I know the CX racing FMIC kits push the lower radiator hose into the way of the shifter if the pipe going to the front turbo is not situated properly. usually just needs to be adjusted a bit to get it all to clear properly.

The car is still running the factory SMICs. Hmm I'll have to take a closer look tonight

Then you must have a hardpipe kit for your SMIC cause in the pic you posted I can see a hardpipe with the two clamps on the bottom right of the pic.

Yeah pipes have been changed but intercoolers are the same. That's probably where the problem is.

I am swaping out the plate originally on the vehicle with the temp paper plate I got from the BMV! What a proud day in history! I'll soon put in a request for a custom plate name, once i can figure out what I want it to be...

This is what I had made today! With a logo and the VR-4 in red left to have added, it will be complete.

I didn't do anything, but someone broke into one of them and stole everything audio related, and tried ripping off the door speaker grills to get those out before they gave up because the grill is part of the door panel, but ruined them anyways.
On a good note, car is much lighter for it's next autox.

i went ahead and did a quick restoration on the second rim on my 3kgt. same as before, just some alloy wheel spraypaint and red paint for the center cap diamond star emblem. took it for a drive after that and no worries! 57,400 miles and going strong!

Installed TEIN H springs to improve cornering and to keep the Latitude 42 splash guards from dragging (I hope).
Attachment 8860Attachment 8861
They're supposed to lower less than an inch, but I can't tell the difference, so that's a good thing.
Cornering is much better. During the install, I noticed the fuel fill hose sits about 3/4" from the exhaust pipe - OUCH! Starting to not like Kooks. OEM shroud wasn't there, part number is non-exist, and none to be found locally.
Attachment 8862
Built a make shift in hopes I don't explode.
