Too bad you didnt make it there during the set. Would have been a bright addition to the backround!
Had a beautiful end to November yesterday. Soon she'll be packed away for the rest of the winter. :(

Took this down in the Keys yesterday.
Lip sure makes the front end lines!

That lip, if I recall, was a BozzSpeed lip for a 3000GT, that was modified to fit a Stealth. I bought it from Migstealth when he parted out his car. I'd like to find someone who can do carbonfiber overlay and have the lip wrapped in CF for more strength. I have the blue/black CF cloth to match my hood, but I don't have the skills to do it myself.
New to me sidemounts.
Nice Ass!
^^I thought it was a Chargespeed lip? I have one actually but haven't installed it yet, or ever. I was selling it but apparently no one wanted it :/ lol.
Might as well post a pic of Le VR4:

Did you go with dr900's, Checkered? Stock rebuild?
Kind of potato pic, but there she sits.

Attachment 7637I've been doing a lot of research, including why exactly I had a turbo fail. Thanks for getting the ball rolling with blackstone labs, I have leaned a lot. I'll go into details later but the summary is- coolant in the oil is bad. The sample after the gasket change still showed some and the next, even less. Put that together with over spooling turbos and low oil pressure and damage is likely. I sent my locked up dr800 to Pure Turbos in CA to rebuild because they have the ability to balance the chra at speed, which is more precise than most.
After talking to their tech for a while and giving him lots of info like engine displacement, boost psi, oil pressure and type, use of car, etc. I learned I have been over spinning these turbos a lot and way out of the efficient range. He measured the wheels and emailed me a DR800 compessor map. (Top of page)
The tech recomended Garrett GTX 2867R turbos for my application to last longer by staying in the efficient zone and spool faster (because billet wheel and ball bearing center section).
More power!!!
coolant in oil is very bad... sucks that something silly like that is what killed the turbo :( sounds like it's leading to a great upgrade though!
I feel your pain... (at a much lower monetary cost)

I'm an idiot and drove on that for ~1k miles. no crank damage which is why it ended up being so cheap
^ Still my favorite hood ever for our cars, Looks Great!

^ I have never been a spyder fan but yours is the exception, Simply gorgeous!
Trust me, it looks MUCH better in person lol.
Unfortunately haven't been able to take it out of Cali due to work and life schedules. MOD in Cypress is probably one of the few places where anyone has seen it. I really want to go to Bowling Green this year but I'm in a startup with a no vacation policy and this year is my 30th anniversary. Pretty unlikely I could take a 10 day road trip on my own this year :(
