:gaybrella: Tell us how you really feel Trev. Did you get the clutchline from Austin all squared away? I was gonna drop by later to give you hand with it, sounds like it's done. You need a hand piecing it back together before the meet on Sunday?

Replaced the driver's side window regulator. Window goes up and down again. Yay.

Bathed and waxed her for UCONN tomorrow, and tied up some loose ends from the flywheel and clutch replacement.
I've popped springs on 3 occasions with my SOHC.
That should say something right there.
The first one I popped was ACT. My original clutch had 40k miles and maybe 100 track passes and it wore out before a spring popped.
From my experience popping springs on 3 clutches, I am not going back to sprung hub once this one lets go.
never popped one, SPEC stage 2 and a 3+, 50k hard hard miles.
Worked on the vr-4 for about 4 hours. Replaced the front steering tie rod ends, put the new eibach alignment bolts in the struts, got them dialed in to where I wont kill myself driving home (alignment tomorrow). Also for the rear, was able to finally break loose my stuck rotor and replace a broken wheelstud, also installed adjustable camber arms, everything went exactly as planned, no rust (except the brake rotor), nothing broke, everything went back together no problem. It was a very rewarding 4 hours working on the car. I want to thank my dad for always letting me use his garage and 40+ years of accumulated tools and tooling, cant wait till I have EVERYTHING like he does.
Over a thousand 5500 RPM stutterbox drop-clutch launches on my race car, sprung-hub clutch, never a problem. I broke differentials and jack shafts left right and center but never hurt a clutch.
That's ACT and Clutchmasters.

So is it more of just an issue with the SPEC sprung clutches? I'm still debating about exchanging it.
The first one may have been from abuse. The following two were after I quit racing the car.
Nothing on my Stealth is explainable it seems.
It was quicker than most other SOHC Stealths with the same mod level.
The exhaust only liked to come out the passenger side. This was on a stock NA exhaust so it wasn't a active exhaust problem.
It ate transmissions and clutches for lunch.
It didn't have lifter tick.
It never had valve seal issues.
I could go on, but the point is my car failed to have the common problems associated with 3s ownership and instead threw completely different issues at me.
I love my TEC, its so freakin BEEFY. Looks great
Paid .93 cents for a 3 pack of these plastic caps, did these and doors.

That is line-X'd so it is a lil late for that but I could slap one of these on the bar:

Who sells the TEC brace?
I've seen them before on a website but can't remember where...
There is a member here selling one. Last Wolfe
The only thing that he doesn't have is the plastic trim pieces, but those can be bought here
I figured out why my car was suddenly idling lower. I plugged the MAF back in. (I drove it to a car show and back, that way)
I did get on it for a second and noticed it was smokin'. But since the MAF is plugged back in it's fine. It's been my DD for over 3 yrs. So what are you talkin' about?
if your N/A then IDK how they act. but on mine, if that thing is unplugged, you sure as hell know it.
I hate my insurance company, if they didn't offer me the best rates by far I would have left a long time ago. The clutch line went in smooth as could be, if anyone is considering buying a stock hose vs. this I would recommend the STM kit by far. And thanks again to Austin for getting it to me in time!
Some Goodies arrived from 3SX :)
