Evil Eye Mod

Hey Gonzo, what state and city do you live in?

I'm on the outskirts of Raleigh NC.

How much would you charge to make the cutout pieces for the evil eye mod?

thought id just add mine on this thread aswell since i was one of the first to do the mod around the same time gabbergod did his ;) this is my updated one and has the pifighter style carbon hood blended into the oe hood.it was a damaged carbon one i got and cut out the full section with the vents then cut a hole out the oe hood and pot rivited and bonded into place then blended in.it still has the strength for the oe lifters and hood catch but really light.

That spyder is fuctional. The guy that owns/drives it is a pretty good racer and does serious events.

Minnesota 3/S ? View topic - My angry eye project

i know its an old bump...but this thread had me cracking up...IPD everyone roasted the hell out of you! :D No worries though! Soon I'll be a part of the Volk/Scoote club as well...I'll post pictures soon to convert the naysayers...

very crude pictures...hood fitment is still in progress however some scoote2 pictures for the naysayers...;)

My larger plenum touches the hood(thats why its a bit popped up on the drivers side)..need to do a little shaving to make it a bit more flush. Also had to enlarge the hingle holes to make the hood sit forward enough to catch the latch. Still need to install pins which will help in making it sit completely flush and prep/paint the thing....after its all done IMO it should compliment the car very nicely!
