Yeah that took me way too long to see that it slipped. I was thinking it was lined up with the tooth, so all is good... nope. I follow all these tuning threads, as there's always some little tidbit that comes out of the woodwork that is helpful!
Got it all pulled apart. Pulled the timing gears off so I could set them and then drill/tap them for a bolt to lock them from ever slipping again. Did a compression test and all is good. Fired it up and purring like a kitten again. Ran out of time last night so he is going to finish buttoning things up then take it to the shop he works at to fix some leaks and stuff. Should be all good to go now and literally at the last min too.
So a guess we found a nice way of figuring out if your timing is off through logging...LOL Man this has been a nightmare these last couple months. I was literally going mad these last couple months thinking there was something major in Chrome I was missing hat was causing all the issue we were having.

You happen to log it at all to confirm it is indeed 'fixed' (as for as the O2's cycling etc)
Not yet, ran out of time last night. Just by starting it and the way that it was running was our first clue. The WBO2 was also registering a lot better than it was before so we are very confident that the exhaust cam slipping was the problem all along. He will be logging it tonight to be sure.
