Biggest issue is provably the difference in angle from its native home in a Diamante vs the 3S
My theory: if anyone has done it and can confirm:
On the Diamante it's up high so it's flat screen faces straight out whereas on the 3/S it's down low and has a bubble screen for visibility when you look down at it.
Y'all are doing it wrong.

As far as saying they're hard to get. I've picked up 2 in as many weeks. Dirt cheap too.Quote:

So it's been a while but figured I would drop a note on this. I have been fighting an issue since I completed my install with the system always blowing hot air. I thought I had a damper stuck open so I was only getting heat. Well I finally figured out that setting the Unit to cool blows hot air and vise versa. So the wiring for what I believe is the Airmix damper is backwards. I have yet to resolve the problem due to many other projects going on. I just dial in the opposite of what I want...LOL
I have also had issues with the A/C not working but I am not sure if it is related to the conversion. My compressor went out some time ago and I think the used one I got is also bad. So I can't make any assumptions to the conversion being a problem at this point.
I am having the exact same issue. Although haven't tried to see if it works backwards.
