So looks like I'm swapping the 13G's into the car!! :p
I thought I messed up when I got them and would need to get them balanced as I took them all apart and stored them 2 years ago. When I was out messing with them tonight cleaning the carbon buildup off of the shafts I noticed my alignment marks... I thought I washed them off when I first cleaned them thinking I used a sharpie, but guess I actually scribed them this time!! Took a little while to figure out which wheel/nut went on which shaft, but I got them all figured out and lined up. Got one all together tonight and all marks lined up perfect... Woo Hoo!!
Going to powder coat the housings in the next couple days.

Variable speed dremel, quick change collet, hot glue, sandpaper, and varies sized drill bits that fit in dremel. You can make your own sanding cones of pretty much any size. Hot glue on drill bit, wrap sandpaper around, small dap of hot glue about 1/4" from end of wrap. For more of a cone point, use "circle" cuts of sandpaper... I usually trace a socket. For the recess areas, you'll want to go to a higher grit than everything else.Quote:

Its not fully hooked up yet, and for some reason my climate control screen went out, but I got my lcd boost controller mostly installed and in place, My passenger side is a rats nest of wires. I have a lot of tucking left to do. But its so pretty.

Torqued main studs down to 90 ft/lb today, and that's about all I'll get done with it. Measured thrust, came in at .0020" towards timing side, .0050" towards flywheel side. Well within specs, makes me happy. Going to try to fix the compressor for a bit, and change the oil in the girlfriend's car before we make our way out to NC next week to see my new niece and head to Ninja Meat. I need to get around to doing the timing stuff and degreeing the engine still, just haven't had time with classes wrapping up. Hopefully after its over the next couple weeks will be good to me in that regard.
Hood came today! I was a little nervous when I saw the box it came in, but its not damaged. It was wrapped really well inside. I hope it fits. So far I am happy with it.

Also started tearing apart another 3s I'm parting out. The car is pretty ripe underneath but it ran and drove great. I drove it 30 miles home.
