Didn't get much done today aside from some much needed cleaning of my parts room. Probably going to spend some time tomorrow working on getting everything set to true TDC and then degree from there.
I tried to steal fuel out of the tank for the lawn... Empty FTL!

What's going on with your car? Haven't heard much about it since you smoked big td04 turbos. Did you get them replaced?
Removed the aftermarket stubby antenna from the red 97 vr4. Installed a new power antenna.
Prepped the engine to degree it, but have folks coming tonight for a small party. Road trip tomorrow and Tuesday. Looking forward to getting this project closer to completion.
I installed some 20T turbos and had no problems but was driving around on low boost working out some other bugs with the car. I went through and replaced the rear diff bushings, carrier bearings, driveshaft, clutch, and finishing up the transmission. I wanted to refresh everything and hit the track without any problems this time. I braced the end housing, was getting ready to weld in a bell housing brace, install the SCE center diff, and install the Quaife front but I've put that all on hold. I'm putting the transmission back in without those upgrades.Quote:

I "bought" a daily driver. It was my parents 03 Mazda 6i that they gave us but it needed new brakes and wheel bearings all the way around. 313K miles on it after the drive back to CO from KY and it still runs great.
