My serial to usb cable must not be FTDI capable since that's the only thing that could make it not work seeing as everything else is in place. I went ahead and ordered one. I will definitely need it to tune for the bigger injectors I just got.
Yes that ebay link is the exact same cable I used, and I know it is FTDI-based. Non-FTDI based cables will give you problems.
Can I use the same adapter cable I had with my OBDI datalogging cable? It is a serial to USB just not sure about it being FTDI based
If you want to use Evoscan software, you have no choice but to use an FTDI-based USB-to-serial adapter.Quote:

Well the slightly confusing thing for me is that I have the HHH program for my 92, but I will using the flashable ECU in the 95, but I'm pretty sure it will work the same.
