Hey my name is Dan and I had a 1991 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 manual 5speed and then some lady crashed into me....and then I traded it for a simple 3000gt sl manual 5 speed
Hey guys - I'm so glad I finally found the "other site" besides 3si. I had a blast at NG13 and look forward to contributing here. Although I know I will get far more than I give here. Thanks to everyone for your willingness to share knowledge (and tools when needed!).
I've got a 94 Pearl White 3000GT VR4 with a few mods, mostly non-powertrain related. I'll get some pics and specs, etc. posted one of these days. I'm really happy with the car the way it is - someday may do a HP increase with larger turbos but want to keep it very streetable and relatively reliable as a daily driver too.
I also have a 93 base 3000GT that's been turned into a TT automatic, but sadly that doesn't run without some bottom end engine work that I'm just not motivated to get going on. But the car is too nice to give up on and part out. Speaking of parts, I also have a 95 3000GT SL parts car that I'm trying to get rid of. I've got what I need and want to pass it along to the next person. I'll get some pics, etc. posted one of these days to try to sell it.
There's just something about these cars that gets under your skin, isn't there?

Hi David from SLC Utah, own a 1991 3000gt VR4 that I am rebuilding.
Cabbages...... knickers....... It, it hasn't got a, a beak!
So, it apparently wants me to type some relevant information, and not favorite movie quotes.....
My name is Jessica, and I'm a mechanic from northeast Florida. I have 3 of these JDM misfits in my yard.
A black (and in some spots, red) 1991 SL,
a red (but according to documentation, was mis-titled as black) 1992 RT/TT,
and a black 1993 R/T-N/A (We'll just refer to this one as "The Donor").
None of them have been plated by me yet, as my ADHD gets the better of me, and I find myself bouncing from car to car. But, soon....

Hello from Idaho!!
Hi, I'm restoring a 95' VR4. Just stripped the whole car inside and out. Finished rebuilding the short block. Next will be the heads over the winter and all the body work. I'm hoping to be done by next summer.
Hi
My name is Stefan, currently driving 92 GTO with Vipec V88, DR650s, 550cc and twin water to air intercoolers
Working on 6g74 and 19Ts to drop in
Glad to be part of it..hope i can learn lots about my car..I bought in June a 92 R/T pearl white Stealth and hoping this forum will allow me to be able to answer questions that come up about it when I need them.
Name's Richard. Glad to be part of forum. Had a '91 3000GT VR4, sold that. Now have a '95 VR4 spyder. Loving it, but needs lot of work.
Hello 3gsto! My name is Dustin and I just bought a 1995 3000gt. Its the base model and 5 speed. I know zero about these cars. I'm a Toyota guy and only buy Toyota's. I came across this car on trade for a spare Corolla I had in the yard. Its in decent shape besides a motor mount and some interior pieces missing. I came here for tech info. I'd like to lowering it, but I'm having a hard time finding springs that go lowering than 1.5 inches. I'd like the megans or intrax's but they seem to be for the VR4 only. Of course, I'm just rambling and will re-ask these questions in the proper thread. I would go with full coilovers but I want this build to be cheap but good quality. I know, two words that don't belong in the same sentence. The corolla and celica take all my money. So I look forward to chatting with everyone. Thanks.
Ok. Thanks for the additional information on getting registered.

Thanks for your time and effort maintaining this forum site. I own a 93 Stealth RT and in the planning stage of moving any and all parts I can from a 94 3000 GT VR4 over to it.
Scott.
Thanks for the info Alan!!!
I have a 94' Stealth that I have had for 12 years. I just picked up a 92' with only 48k on the engine. I've loved this platform
So much that I bought my own shop 7 years ago to house my baby. The 94' is going to have 1000+ hp and the 92 will remain as unmolested as it came from the factory (hopefully). I did develop a new downpipe for the platform and have yet to put it on my Dynojet. I'm in the northern Virginia area if anyone needs a good tuner or dyno pulls.
hi, jordan 94 3000gt :)
