:lo5l: That is our driver's side! But I know what you mean. I'll pass this to Ben but I'm sure he'll know this stuff anyway..
Thanks for the info though, I'm grateful for anything like that.

Haha (good chukkle for the day), everything is on the same side of the car exept the seat!
Krank vents:
"the stock PCV valve meters the air that leaves the rocker cover. A problem might occur during very high boost where the stock PCV valve leaks air into the rocker cover, pressurizing the crankcase. The purpose of the new Krank Vent in this upper hose is to totally prevent air from flowing from the manifold into the rocker cover"its recommended to to leave the stock PCV valve in place.so basically just an extra protection, (the oem pcv valve is good for anything less than 16psi)
"Installing the larger Krank Vent with the flow direction away from the rocker cover guaranties that fresh, filtered air will not enter crankcase from the intake hose, and that the crankcase will always be under partial vacuum. The third alternative is to not install the larger Krank Vent. This would allow the PCV system to function as it was designed to, but would eliminate the main benefit that ET attributes to the Krank Vents, that is, a partial vacuum in the crankcase at all times."
note that during high boost situations, when blow-by gas volume is at its greatest the larger krank vent will cause some restriction !
Stealth 316 - ET Performance Karnk Vent Turbo Kit
They will create negative pressure in the sump only under no boost(when there is vacuum in the intake), but when your boosting( when blow-by gas volume is at its greatest ) their nothing but restriction(except if you use more than 1 but still restriction vs an open hose) and extra safety over the oem pcv valve(this is what the smaller krank vent will provide)
Some progress updates
The fuel lines are in
The engine is in
The clutch has been moddified and fitted
The gearbox is in all bar the engine / gearbox mounting bolt on the driver's side.
The MXL Strada digital dash has been mounted in the gauge cluster
Small battery has been located in rear seat well
Custom meth tank enclosure, meth injection pump mount fabricated

Tomorrow, the Transfer case, carbon prop and rear drive shafts should get fitted, then it's on to customizing the exhaust, adapting the intercooler pipework, fit coolant system and meth injection etc.
André
Well, the gearbox and transfer box are on, drive shafts installed, the intercooler pipework has been modified and fitted and the exhaust modifications have begun. Coolant system is still to be fitted, collectors for the dual oil cooler system still to be fabricated, then hopefully onto electrics and meth injection system.
The old exhaust system was front 2.5" down pipe, flexi, 2.5" rear down pipe joining into 3.5" through pipe splitting out to 2 x 3" pipes, oval cans with 8" x 4" chrome oval tail pipes.
We are modifying this as follows. Replacing the 2.5" down pipes with 3", front and rear down pipes linked solidly (no flexi in between), flexi into 4" through pipe joined onto existing rear arrangement.
André
Is that dual oil coolers?
It is indeed. We are running -10AN single feed to a collector with equal length -8AN feeds to the coolers, -8AN returns to another collector then -10AN single return.

Sounds awesome.
