Was Jason involved in this bumper incident??? :suspect: :lmao:

Replaced slave cylinder on the SL :P.
This moron happened to work for the same company as me, just a different division. What really pissed me off is that I had to stay late on a Friday for a conference call so this happened after the normal time I would have left for home. Not to mention that when my car was hit, it was hit hard enough to set off the alarm so it's not like the person that did it didn't know.
So traded my flashable plus some cash for another AWD trans that I will most likely sell/part out (but may run it until Chris is done with my trans,) another set of rear axles, another FMIC kit (with a core that's something around 3-4" thick), Tial VTA blow off valve, and a home made TT manifold (vaguely log style) set up with knock off GT28R (or GT28RS) turbos. Cosmetically not a great looker, and highly unlikely it will replace my 14Bs (since they're already set for open dump and I don't feel like hacking off and rewelding flanges to utilize knock off turbos that may or may not outperform.) At any rate though, should more than get my money back out of the deal.
Still waiting for the undercoating to get here, and haven't had time to get back out under the car and scrape more shit off of the underside. Rear subframe is mostly ready for coating, front control arms need the ball joints taken back out (without damage) so that I can clean them and coat them. More stuff needs to come out of the engine bay to complete it as well, and I need to get a new firewall insulation pad of some kind (or make one. Fun shit.

last night...16 degrees timing advance(thought it was 17)...e85. I'm happy. :)

comparison between EVO maf full boost/spool vs MAF translator(red line). I think its showing 2 lines for boost because i have 2 map sensors(blue lines)
uncorrected numbers
Did you change anything else in the tune aside from swapping the MAF and adjusting tables for it?
Speed density or blow thru? Pipes on the turbos? Just curious what all changes you've made between them for a pretty substantial decrease in spool up time.
The evo maf was being used in conjunction with stock intake pipes.
Blow Thru 3.5" Gen 2 translator. added 1 degree of timing (was originally at 8 degrees now I'm at 9)
No SD option for chrome.
picture might help...

Sorry, assumed MAFT Pro (where SD would be an option.) So with timing increase and MAF change cumulatively, you picked up 20whp peak uncorrected?
Not as big as I would've expected, but overall looks like significantly more power under the curve, especially low to mid range.
Wouldn't mind sending you my MAFT Pro and SD harness to see if that offers any additional gains.
Give or take....yeah.
Timing was added in the 4000-4500 region. I don't think it would affect peak output at 5000+RPMS'...Don't get too caught up on the numbers though...In my opinion...does a MAFT free up some power? Yeah it does. I didn't do it specifically for the power gain I did it because I realized I had a restriction in the intake tract. If you upgrade looking for 40+whp...you might be disappointed. Plus I absolutely HATED how the stock pipes looked in the engine bay with my FMIC piping..Where it really matters..the seat of the pants...boost hits harder and the car is a lot more vicious in the vacuum/boost transition. In short: I like it :D
I don't think there will be any significant gains to be had at this power level with SD. Plus my MAFT harness is already hardwired into my adapter harness. As Greg has said before and others as well...a MAFT setup w/chrome will easily support most turbo upgrades on the 3/s. I've got literally all bolt-ons...cams, chrome, turbo's, e85, 1000cc injectors...car get daily driven occasionally and it does it like a champ with no driveability issues at all. Only thing thats different is cold starts on e85 when the car sits for a week or longer. Otherwise hot/cold/warm starts and everything in between...its great. Additionally, very little re-tuning was needed to make it work...very little.
