Bought an eBay o2 housing to chop up and build an external WG setup and dump. Stock 20year old actuator is done for and it's stainless TIG welding practice.
It's called Mohair or pile weather stripping. You can usually find it at a home improvement stores in the weatherstripping section. It's used on doors and windows. Remove the old and glue on the new stuff.Quote:

I saved 43 pounds according to my bathroom scale bringing car weight to 3588. I need to weigh my sub box still and remove a few things. If someone buys my old r6 rims (pending offer), I'll be buying a lighter hood. I want the car under 3500. Pretty much as light as I can make it without sacrificing a/c and power steering, or having a gutted interior.
