The AMA did everything they could to push the 2 strokes out (including changing track design to favor 4 strokes). It's a shame, really. I'd pick an old school 2 stroke over the newest 4 stroke any day.Quote:

Two strokes in general are being phased out. Got one of the last two-stroke waverunners myself. 2007 Yamaha GP1300R, last year they made them was 2008, and other manufacturers stopped a while ago.
Great thing about two-strokes are how simple the engine is, and how cheap it is for a rebuild.
