i hope it's for work....because that's a hard justification for a "hobby".

I really hope it's not for his work....
^^^ lol, its not for my current career, no :p
I was an underground utility foreman for a few years, and it was utterly invaluable for installing water lines...
...although it HAS seen action on more than one 3s; once to cut off a bad cat from a red VR4, once to pull a good engine out of a totalled white VR4, and once to send a blue VR4 to the junkyard ;)
Anywhoo....

Nasty tumble! Reminds me of when I used to ride. Worst crash I ever had was in the middle of a "combo section". Ran out of gas going up the last out of three doubles. 3rd gear pegged (two stroke), the suspension bouncing back from landing the second jump was just enough to expose the pickup and send me over the bars, landing on my head/shoulder. Flipped right side up just in time for the rear half of the bike to land on my hip. Needless to say, this information was provided to me from bystanders (was blacked out for a couple hours). Wasn't able to walk for a week.
Good times :bigthumb:
I thought so too! Haha. You're right, it really doesn't. Of course, I was also riding over my head...
Well I don't believe I was knocked out, but I for sure had concussion, 3 inch crack on my scapula (shoulder), cracked and bruised ribs, ect. Rode out the lap (another 30+ mins) but don't remember any of it. And yeah I was for sure the only C out there as I actually "Won" my class due to just that fact haha.
Also, I'll be moving to B class in about 6 months after the current AMRA Series season ends. RD1 was yesterday, I won my class (first time in this series) and got 3rd overall in the C division (out of 60 other racers). It only took me 2h and 17m to do 3 laps. ;) Suffice to say, I'm tired as hell and can barely walk...
