The internal pressure sensor is rated 0 to 36.25psi, but I find it's actually capable of reading -0.9psi to 36.25psi.
Is there any way you could make this work with an Evo MAP sensor wired into the ECU? That way I can wire my wideband and MAP sensor into the ECU (less clutter), log everything with the Tactrix cable, but still get boost and AFR on the LCD? That would be awesome if so!
Define what you mean by "into the ECU"? do you already have something tied into the EGRT circuit?
You will get faster response from direct input to the LCDboostcontroller. I had my GM 3bar hooked into the EGRT circuit before I installed this controller, I just left it in place, hijacked the signal wire right at the ECU, and diverted it to the boost controller.
The setup menu gives the option to pick internal. Greddy 4bar, or GM 3bar.
I just located the EGRT wire at the back of the ECU, snipped it, and routed it to the input of the boost controller. IIRC the instuctions indicate it's for an external or Greddy sensor, and may not specify GM 3bar, but it's the same input.
If anyone needs a custom external pressure sensor harness made just contact me on how long of a wire you need and I'll put a connector on it so it will plug right in. Or I can provide a connector with pins and you can build your own harness.
