hey now... the only time I had crank walk was when the clutch fell off of the crankshaft.

Yes. There's a video somewhere in this thread. Crank walk happened because I didn't know what the heck was wrong so attempted to keep using the clutch, including pushing the pedal really hard to try and get it to disengage in traffic.
