I need to figure out a way to get more leverage for that blue point tool. It kills my palms from pushing down after I get through part of the head.
....bfh....
Main lesson learned I think was to use more than 50psi to hold the valve up..and make sure the cylinder is at tdc. At any rate, not something I need to mess with for a long time again.
Agree with familMAN: BFH.
So long as you're on the same axis as the valve stem, no issues using a BFH.

I took apart some stuff on top of the trans in prep to pull it but now I'm chillin......because it's cold again in Tennessee. 70 one day and 30 the next.
Truth. Extent of 3s related stuff today was scrubbing a bell housing and the tail section of a tcase that was filthy. Spent about 4 hours out there, but so cold that it was like playing in ice water. Hopefully I can get more done tomorrow.

Installed a mint-ish Cianci Victory Racing Hood (with louvers) in the VR4 :). Time to ditch the ugly 575!
