What did you do today to your 3/S?

I spent about 5 hours in the garage today assembling a motor together for mock up purposes, test fitted a turbo kit, and mostly made modifications to clear the headers plus the huge turbine housings. I'm hoping to start some porting after work tomorrow. I may pull my motor this next week if I get time in the evenings.

Today I removed the pressure plate and clutch which had been service about 30k ago, I only got to drive the car a month or so last year when I bought it. The previous owner most have smoked the clutch more than once.

Confirmed 8300 rpm rev limit works while driving. Just making sure;)

Joined the 400WHP today. I'm still learning how to tune. I'll share my chart here with 100 octane. I reverted to the timing table I had just previous but didn't take away any fuel. As a result it's pig rich (10 AFR) when boost kicks in and only leans out when I crank up the boost. I pretty much maxed out the 560s with this tune so I expect I could pull fuel to about 11 AFR and probably get close to 450WHP on 100. I still have the rev limit at 7000, might turn that up to 7500. The car seems to break up slightly at the top end, guessing it is spark starting to blow out. Is that even likely at my power level?

Like you with the trunk stripped I could hear it at idle but other than that I don't hear it.

Wife shampooed the charcoal carpeting. Then I installed it with the charcoal cloth interior. MUCH better vs the beige leather and saves 25lbs. Mounted my lock up converter switch where cruise switch was (deleted a long time ago).

Bled the brakes. Forgot I disconnected the rear lines when I did aws delete. No wonder brakes felt bad. Oops:)

Since the brakes hold now. Got up on the converter in my driveway. No issues even with the 280's to get there. Made it to 3500 and 5ish psi when I let off. I'll set the 2step there and it will build some boost also. Shouldn't be a problem to do similar if I ever want to upgrade to 16gs.

Perhaps, but beige interior > red interior...even if I still haven't pulled it.

I've spent the last couple days in training..and losing keepers and dropping valves. Like a boss. Moral of the story: the tool for doing vss on car just isn't for me :p
