Banished one from the garage for the Winter to make room for the baby/wife-mover Expedition and my Winter-beater. Now the American vehicles outnumber the imports in my garage. :/ At least the remaining import out-powers the American's combined, with half the cylinders! :)

Finally put over 500 miles on the rebuild.
Well, the last time it rained here in Phoenix I turned on my rear wiper and it insisted on wiping despite the switch's efforts to tell it otherwise. So I unplugged it and instead of buying a new switch (I plan to delete the rear wiper eventually anyway) I put the available space to use;

Bought a blank plastic piece that fits into the stock hole in the dash and mounted two switches to it. The left one is just in there for future use, and the right one turns my amp on and off.
Started the 2g up to let it run for bit since its been sitting for winter. After the what I assume was a collapsed lifter started to quiet down at operating temp I started to hear what I think is some faint rod knock...Not exactly happy so I turned it off and walked away. We will see what happens in the spring.
