Yeah, that is what I was talking about, I thought then you decided that you should get an OEM

Wish I still had the picture of a Gates pump where the pulley separated from the impeller.

No because my reasoning was it wouldn't do anything to the engine if it did. I didn't know/think about possibility of bearing seizing the pump and belt. So that makes it more of a risk running an aftermarket pump. Oh well enough about this. Now I know.

i had a water pump on my old escort sieze up and strip the teeth off the belt. just saying.

OEM every 120k. that's my motto.

I thought that was a 60K part, I had the 60k done on the merit of the car's age vs the milage it had.
