I joined today because I have a vr-4 for sale and I thought someone on here might be interested. I live in MA, and have had this car since I was 17 (I bought it from my Dad who had it new). I love these cars, but don't drive it enough to warrant keeping it.
Hopefully I'll find someone here who will enjoy it more often than I am able to!

Funny video :-) I live in Grants Pass, Oregon and just bought a 1998 3000GT Base with 126,000 miles on it. Reminds me of the 1987 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z I used to own years ago.
I'm not looking to mod it with turbos or add AWD or anything major to the 3000GT. I do want to mod the intake and exhaust and it needs suspension and brakes. The car is in excellent shape. People ask me where I bought my new car (it's in THAT good of shape).

I am a bit confused, but I was originally from the Old 3SI forum under the same User Name.
Anyhow, still own the car, 93 RT/TT, since 2002.
The car is dead right now, needing a crankshaft position/Crank angle Sensor and a VSS + 28 teeth gear.

i'm beginning to think that it would be helpful if i created a thread on here (hopefully sticky'd) that explains what happened in the "great fallout of 2010". long story short, though, it started when alan pulled advertising on 3si because of a virus--and AF got its panties in a knot because someone had tampered with its potential advertising revenue. granted, there are events pre-dating that, but this particular event was essentially the perennial straw that broke the camel's back.Quote:

Hey guys names brian and i drive a resurected 92 White SL..my first acual bought car for $1100. Swaped a good engine when i knew nothing about cars cause the original one under the hood i was told it spun its main bearings. Then orginal trans also blew...so i swaped that as well...Now im just really trying to take care of the car ...but i love working on it now that i know how to and id love to work on it more or acually build a VR-4 or any other car from a rolling chass..cheers guys
