Love the IPS quad tip exhaust.
If it had been available years ago when I got my Borla, I would have gotten it instead.

I like the quad also. I have the IPS "quad" but with 4" duals instead (single each side). High quality welds and piping. It weighs probably the same as stock though:(
Replaced my T-stat with an OEM one and filled the Trans with synchromesh. Just hit 210k miles (7k miles being AWD!). Im 90% sure my side motor mounts are shot (poly ones ordered from pauly) which is giving me odd vibrations whenever I go past 2800 rpm or maybe it is just the POS spec stage 1 clutch going out. I don't want to drop my trans a 3rd this year =/. Someone with a lift let me borrow it haha.
3 times in a year? Try 3 times in 2 nights.
Lol no thanks. I had to pull it once because I dropped the return spring into the trans after modifying the shifter assembly. The trans was out of the car for a grand total of 3 mins then went right back in.
I pulled mine AND opened the case AND put it back in 3 times in 2 days. I was not pleased.
Had the battery plugged in a read from the ecu to confirm my laptop works and one I'm selling to confirm the ecu is good. all good, battery not even dead. It was nice to see at least the electronics come alive :)
After nearly 8 years of ownership, I finally broke down and disassembled the driver's door lock cylinder. I saw a thread a little while back on one of the forums which gave a pretty good walk-though, but couldn't find it today, so I winged it. Since I bought the car, it's been completely seized to where the key wouldn't even begin to penetrate the cylinder. Using a small flat-head screwdriver, hammer, wire terminal file, and some silicone grease I got it working like new! Even freed up the tiny little springs in there. Probably the most tedious work I've done so far, but feels good to accomplish something that's been on the to-do list for so long. Next order of business, stop the machine gun locks when unlocking...
JimVR4 has a nice write up on one of the boards describing how replacing the rubber "bumpers" fixes the machine gun locks...
