You could be right, it could just be a generation gap thing. In my obviously biased world, I dont see how anyone who likes football doesn't like Brady, Peyton, Wilson, Watt, Rodgers, Luck ext.. I know I didn't give all the receivers, defensive and offensive line guys credit but those are not the guys that we mostly speak about.

I remember 3 WR's with 1,000 yards and an RB with 1,000---all in 1 season. No I'm not a Colts fan. Why do you ask? :p
2. Neon Dion is a very polarizing figure. But love him or hate him, you simply cannot deny the talents of a man who has been to both a Super Bowl and a World Series--and he's got two SB rings to show for it. Now I get that some people go "hired gun" and try to amass rings by getting trades (I'm looking at you, Lakers & Heat), but as far as free-agents in the NFL go, Dion would NOT have gotten put in those spots if he didn't have skills to bring to the field. So while I can completely understand not liking the man, you simply have to respect his skills (and that's much more than I can say for 1-team, 1-system guys like Brady).

4. There's plenty of teams in the NFL I don't hate. Many of them have never won a Super Bowl. Then there's the teams with cocky sonuvabitches who have played for them in the past 10 years (Moss, Ochocinco, TO, etc)--or teams with cocky sonuvabitches who STILL play for them (“Maybe those guys got to study the rule book and figure it out,” he said. “I don’t know what was deceiving about that. (They) should figure it out.”). AND THEN there's the teams where a visiting fan can get shived in the stands...not that I'm naming any names...

i don't care for irsay one bit. but then again, there's a large percentage of team owners who are either loud-mouth windbags, or douchebags, or both. Off the top of my head, Paul Allen is probably the only one I don't mind. I can't fucking stand Kraft.

Chancellor is good. I still think Bob Sanders was better...although he unfortunately was beset by injuries for most of his career. I guess sometimes the best burn too bright.

Didn't you mention earlier that you were stuck rooting for the Colts or something along those lines? That is why I didn't think you were a hardcore fan. It makes sense though that you would hate the Pats so much now. Watching the Colts lose to them constantly must have sucked.
Tomorrow could be a different story though. I'm not one to be cocky and make guarantees. I have learned my lesson and been humbled many times (contrary to your thinking that all Pats fans are cocky). The 2007 undefeated season that ended in the SB stung pretty bad. No loss has really seemed like a big deal since then. Patriot fans have had their share of ups and downs.

Seahawks are a ridiculously good team. I have to laugh at a sizeable portion of their fan base though. I'm in Omaha. Very very long ways away from Seattle. I've been going to the same sports bar for years and Seahawks fans were about as common as a Detroit playoff win. Suddenly, after years of having next to no Seahawks fans, they're everywhere. EV-ERY-WHERE! I've never in my life seen a bandwagon fan base of that magnitude which is also kind of comical. In any event, you always see a few being made fun of for that which is kind of shitty for the actual Seahawks fan that's been with them long before all this happened. Either way, hoping the Packers pull off the win but it's going to be very difficult as Seattle is a tough team as it is without playing at home and having an injured Aaron Rodgers.
