Uh, it always has been. Regardless, he's not the best player anyway. Outside of the rushing, which is phenomenal(albeit against perennially weak competition), he's well outclassed in passing by Jameis Winston.

AJ really? talk about a very average guy surrounded by great players.
I think Winston is great but he's got great a great team around him on both sides of the ball.
fact is if Lynch is gone NIU is terrible and isn't blowing out folks. same goes for Andre Williams. you just can't say that about Alabama and FSU. he means more to his team. FSU's defense is flat out awesome. they look like grown men playing against boys. they'd still be beating folks.

AJ is a spectacular qb. The cat is a true gamer. You're right, there is so much talent around him that he gets overlooked.
I understand that Lynch makes that team, I do. And I admire the heck out of him and feel he will do quite well in the NFL. However, it just doesn't negate the level of competition. Lynch will finish about 5th, IMO. If they make a BCS bowl again, they'll get manhandled...again. Just not going to win the Heisman out of a mid major unless there is a glaring lack of talent in the "have" schools. Which certainly isn't the case this year. Lynch has exactly no chance.

I think Lynch at least needs to be in the conversation. some recognition for what he's accomplished.
blah, I think AJ is very average. he won't carry the team on his own if needed and he won't blow it for you....well except that int at A&M last year.

Our special teams have been a disaster ALL season. Why we continue to return kicks and try to block punts is indefensible... Tech should've scored 6 points (in garbage time no less), but our special teams gifted them 10 in the 1st half... either way, 41-16 beat down. Fuck Mack Brown for squandering this deep and talented team because he couldn't find a competent QB to back-up Ash.
If OU can beat OSU in the bedlam game (long shot), the Texas-Baylor game will be the B12 championship.
