Packers D won the game again IMHO. The D had an interception for a TD, Take those 7 points away and the Steelers would win by 1. I was not sure if the D would be up to the challenge of playing the Steelers in the Super Bowl but they did the job and well. Congrats guys. Steelers did not make it easy. It was a great game.
The Steelers D was getting to Rodgers and shutting him down in the 3 quarter. That is not easy to do either they played well. Just not quite good enough to win it.
Awesome game.
I kept my mouth shut until this game was over about this as I wasn't entirely sure. To be honest, Packers had the edge all around. Simply put, more talent and more perseverance. All in all it was an incredible game to watch and we couldn't have asked for a better opponent to play in the Super Bowl.
GO Pack!!!
I think I am still recovering. I am pretty sure I was still drunk when I got to work at 7. I didn't start feeling semi normal until 9.
It was a good game. Pittsburgh tried giving it away at first and made it a game.
I can't beleive they let Suisham attempt a fucking 52 yard FG. His ass better be looking for work after this season. Pittsburgh was stupid for picking him up in the first place.
Thought I would point out that even though the Pats couldnt get anywhere in the playoffs (Sad). Brady got offensive player of the year (Only QB to ever get this twice) And MVP (Only player to ever get a unanimous vote). And BB got coach of the year.
Good time watching this SB. The Packers looked good at the end of the season. I saw the light after they beat down the Eagles; who never had much of a defense, then after seeing the thrashing in Atlanta, they were obviously the hot team.
Steelers statistically kicked @ss! Except for turnovers. The running game was impressive; but it seemed like Capers adjusted to it and injuries well. Mathews shadowed Rapersburger pretty well the majority of the time and I credit him for the turning point in the game. A timely pop on Mendenhall for the fumble, when Steelers were flexing their running game. Of course the MVP was solid; didn't try too hard and make the turnover mistake. Yes it was a team effort, but Aaron was very much deserving of the MVP.
LOL, I have been spewing my picks since the playoffs, I think in the end I was 50%, but it wasn't too hard to pick the Pack based on how the teams were playing. They matched up well and inspite of the turnovers it still went down to the wire.
Ugh, I am finally starting to feel better also; not sure if the beer helped with enjoying the game or not  The Steelers did make it a game in spite of themselves LOL.
