What did you do today to your 3/S?

Washed it, vacuumed it and took my wife to dinner in it...and back even!

Besides worrying constantly it was going to break in the 3 mile round trip journey, it was nice...in a big cam, big turbo, solid motor mounts and unsprung clutch kind of way :D

Of course, noticed a big oil leak I need to find and fix when I got back home though. Oil dripping off alt onto OF housing. Maybe from front cam seal but no oil on timing belt? I guess it could be just draining down but I couldn't see it.

Im using the time i have until the new parts start arriving :)

mine is more of a what have you done in the last week, flew to colorado , purchased 92 tt drove back. Snake eyes mod, rear wiper re-clock , ordered a head unit and intake .

Haha, if you're like me you will still be cleaning up your old stuff when the new stuff is in :p

tried the champion surface discharge plugs, car hates them, runs like a mess.

Hey forest, what are you seeing specifically vs the plugs you had before? WOT and cruise issues?

well I pulled the car in the garage with NGK R5671A-7 and it was running about 18 PSI. I could be rolling in 1st and punch it at any time and go sideways doing a burnout. I was hitting 15 percent more load than last weeks virtual dyno of 427 awhp.

I installed these new plugs because I was getting a mis around 4500 in 2nd gear and up after raising the boost earlier in the day from 15 to 18 PSI. After that the car bucks anytime it gets into boost and is practical undriveable.

So, either I missed something putting it back together or my car does not like these plugs. I have new msd wires, pte and coils are a couple years old, and a HKS DLI. e85

Thanks for the feedback. I put in the same plugs for this build. I am getting some bucking at light load but thought it could be tune related, even though it does it when lean or not. Will try swapping plugs and see if there is a difference.

yes I get bucking at light load and trying to make boost. the ngk's will have to go back in for now and see if that clears it up

What gap do you guys think? I was thinking of going all the way down to .022 to be sure it solves the problem. Planning on running 24 psi or so.
