all that $$$....and a KNOCKOFF pitroad-m hood? piker, please!
Holy hell those tires are wide! What's the plan with the fenders to get those to fit?
I originally wanted the Seibon hood over the prm as I liked the idea of cold air blowing down on the rear turbo.
The plan with getting the tyres to fit is to run them on 18x10.5 et+15 which should only move the wheel about 1mm and the tyre about 9mm closer to the suspension etc. The inner arches are gone and the wheel arches are going to be rolled out to cover the 71mm that the tyres will stick out.

Well, it has been a long time since there has been much to update, however, here are some of the main points.
new fuel lines are in
custom main loom (made from scratch) is all but complete
ABS deleted
Rear steering deleted
FMIC in place
engine assembled
turbos fitted
new water meth tank fabricated for rear seat well.
We should get to see the engine fitted this week with any luck! :D
Almost on the home straight now. Here's a little teaser of what the tiny turbos with their headers look like fitted. To give you a clue of how big the turbos are, the rear rocker cover cannot be removed with the engine in the car as the rear turbo needs to be removed! :eek4:

Wow! What a project!
Also are you going to have to modify the firewall to fit that big of a turbo in the rear? I dont see how it could fit, that thing looks huge!
Could well have to! Ben's DR1200's measure about 7" off the valve cover at the rear and his scrape when lowering the engine in, these measure about 9"!

Wow, those are huge turbos, They kind of remind me of the Garrett GT37 that I sold for a diesel Cummins that made 1200 ft/lbs of torque lol
I'll be looking for 1000-1200 ish ft/lbs of torque from this! :lo5l:
