Boost controller/precats - boost controller because the stock solenoid spiked horribly / precats really opened the car up.
I would say either my brakes (haven't really tested them yet), the eManage, or my monitoring stuff. Probably the monitoring (logger/wideband/boost gauge).
I already posted that my best MOD is my Tein Coilovers/Tenabe G-force (Turbo-back)....but just got my 99 lifters and camber kit.
Well my '98VR4 is pretty much stock & I've only done two major mod's : the one that is the "BEST" that I have done was taking out the stock non-ecs suspension and replacing it with new '95 Stock ECS Struts + Tein H-Techs + a Custom ECS Controller I built to control it all. It made a huge difference in handling and it's tunable from the cockpit. Now if I could just do the "driver Mod" like J. Fast did - I'd be all set. :)
Duke.
I'm gonna go with the transmission, still have to take the bastard appart every year but SCE front and center diff along with all new syncros :)
Makes for a good time :D
Haven't done much yet, but I would have to say the best one so far is the 94 front lip. Reason: small dent on the bottom of the bumper. Covered it up nicely, cant see it now.
When I had my VR4 the best "mod" was getting a datalogger. Other than that I guess the boost controller. I never did anything too crazy--all my money went to maintenance :(
Best Mod is my Pampena 3.5L Stroker... Oh and my AWD Dyno :)
My best mod is my Gene's PTE Billet 6765 single turbo kit with reverse manifold w/ Q45 TB
