You will have to rotate the engine over to pull the pin on the tensioner if you wait that long. You would be amazed at how powerful that tiny tensioner really is.Quote:

Wow, is this a new tensioner? I have never been able to pull the pin after about 6 hours of it sitting. I have had 0 timing belt issues. I have just never encountered one that lasted for 24 hours and the pin can be pulled except on bad ones which were 100% time reused ones. If it is a new tensioner I wouldn't worry about it.Quote:
