yes, I gave up and hoped Jack could save me :) but its something besides the trans.
When cold the trans takes like 1-2 seconds to shift from 1,2 at say 3000 RPM. Overall just tends to try to block shifts or be slow. Literally everything clutch or trans related replaced with new oem parts except the stock shifter inside the cab and the shifter cables.
When warm seems to shift 'ok', but never confident to beat on it, given the cold or lukewarm issues it has. I may make a new thread later.
